Ruben Zavala: My name is Ruben Zavala. Based on the ideology quiz, I am a Solid Liberal. My political influences are David Pakman and Sam Seder, both have Progressive talk shows and I love listening to their point of views of todays political climate. I have only voted once and it was for last Novembers mid terms. I realized that it was finally my time to go out and vote. I am taking this class because I would like to learn more about how the government works here in Texas. I do not plan on leaving Texas so this class looks important for me. I do not know much about our local government, I hope that changes after taking this class.
